At LM Clapham Butchers, we offer quality produce, backed up by quality service from our highly experienced team of Butchers.
With well over 100 years of butchery experience between them, Richard, Alan, and Gary take a pride in the providing excellent service, and they are always happy to offer advice on how to store and cook your food.
We look to provide locally sourced products wherever possible, and our meat and game includes beef, pork, lamb, poultry, turkey, venison, pheasants and wild rabbits. We make our burgers and sausages on the premises, and our deli provides a wide range of produce, including cheeses, pates, ox tongues, haslet, corned beef and hams.
Our Story
LM Clapham started as a butchers in the 1950s. At that time they occupied a single shop in Elm Grove. By the 1990s, their continued popularity meant that the shop needed to expand, and they took over the newsagents next door, enabling the butchers premises to double in size.
In 2009 previous owner Mr. Clapham retired and sold the business to Richard Hammond. Richard had worked at Clapham's since the 1980s, and had been instrumental in the success of the business.
Richard and his wife Sue continue to grow this thriving local business, ably assisted by their experienced staff.
